Sometimes I wonder If I am going to wake up tomorrow Seems a hopeless situation In this world of violence and sorrow But I got a dream in my heart Of a Perfect World Why don't you come with me And you can share my world This Perfect World (Perfect World) Sometimes I wonder Is there nothing I can do Is it the will of destiny Or in the hands of a chosen few But I got a dream in my heart Of a Perfect World Why don't you come with me And we'll grow old together This Perfect World (Perfect World) We can live and we can love And we can fly like the doves So many faces under the sun There's got to be room for everyone This Perfect World (Perfect World)

about

These were all recorded on my 4-track cassette recorder that I had for years. I am playing most of the instruments on the keyboards and doing all the vocals, except for 'Long Time Ago' (Miriam Shneider on back ups). Occasionally I would have friends come by and add guitar or sax. The 1st song 'Words of a Song' incorporates my love of Classical music. The first record my mother bought me when I was maybe seven years old was a red vinyl Beethoven record. I used to shut out the lights, stand on a crate and pretend I was conducting the symphony. When I was a kid Procul Harem came to Winnipeg with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. What a great concept to have pop songs intertwined with classical music. It's something I would like to do more of in the future.
